Design and adapt the mechanical design of our custom hardware.

Job Description

  1. Deeply analyze the design requirements including functionality and design constraints
  2. Develop the conceptual mechanical design
  3. Develop the mechanical drawings and 3D models
  4. Discuss the interaction between the mechanical and electrical design with the electrical engineer
  5. Prototype the design using 3D printers
  6. Finalize the mechanical design after validation
  7. Generate mechanical design release documentation for manufacturing
  8. Assess the technical offers from the different suppliers
  9. Supervise the manufacturing of the mechanical components with the 3rd party suppliers
  10. Document the device mechanical design according to the international standards
  11. Prepare the technical documentation for the intellectual property registration

Required skills and experience

  • Excellent knowledge product design for electrical devices
  • Familiar with product design toolkitkit
  • Ability to travel as required
