Garment IO is looking for a detailed oriented Junior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves diving into the financial details to join our Finance & Accounting team.
Job Description
- Monitor and manage clients’ accounts.
- Preparation and submission of invoices,
- Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to set timelines
- Ensure valid, accurate and timely recording of all sales invoices including management of invoice preparation
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Assist in GL close to agreed timelines and completion of all Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Responsible for managing and monitoring an end to end accounts receivable process
- Assist in the annual audit and working with auditors on all issues for revenue recognition
- Maintain a good control over the inventory
- Maintain good relation with the clients and vendors
- Any other tasks as per the job requirement
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- From 1 to 2 years of experience as accountant.
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organizing skills
- Ability to compile professional and thorough accounting reports
- Ability to analyze information in an objective and unbiased manner
- Good command of English
- Proven experience as a junior accountant is preferred
