Job Description

Manages all office-related administration: (50%)

  1. Maintain a well-tracked system for inventory, documentation and asset management for office supplies, equipment, and tools
  2. Implement purchase orders and follow up on delivery
  3. Manage office expenses, utility fees, rent, services, suppliers and subscriptions
  4. Maintain and order office supplies on an ongoing basis
  5. Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers and service providers
  6. Manage office maintenance and communicate with service providers

Manages and carries out all Talent Management processes in Garment IO: (50%)

  1. Talent Marketing: communicate and promote vacancies to target audiences in relevant channels. Manage Garment IO’s social media for employment promotion and employer branding.
  2. Talent Selection: filter CVs and applications and conduct interviews with technical leads or senior management.
  3. Talent Induction: conduct orientation for new team members
  4. Performance Management: manage annual/sick leave system, reward & recognition, follow up on performance appraisals, tracking and policy enforcement, manage and update employee records
  5. Compensation & Benefits: research benefits suppliers and negotiates best deals possible, dispense salaries
  6. Work Environment: guide and maintain a positive, inclusive and exciting work culture for all

Required skills and experience

  • Up to 2 years work/volunteer experience (university volunteer experience counts)
  • High process orientation and attention to streamlined processes and experiences
  • High level of integrity and keenness on preserving confidentiality and private information
  • Passion and interest in Talent Management exhibited through past experiences
  • Excellent command of English
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong familiarity and understanding of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Active student life in organizations and student activities

Preferable skills and experience

  • Familiarity and experience with Google Sheets
  • Previous experience with startups
  • Applicants with IT background are encouraged to apply
