Job responsibilities

  1. Design, implement and test firmware for a new generation of a wifi-enabled embedded device.
  2. Develop new features and integrate them with the web application.
  3. Searching and assessing suitable third party open source software to reuse in our projects.
  4. Report software bugs.
  5. Work on troubleshooting and solving complex software and electronics issues.
  6. Work in a challenging environment with a mixed nature of development and research.
  7. Work in a dynamic environment with multiple ,changing priorities.
  8. Report and estimate the development status on a regular basis.

Job requirements

  1. 2+ years of experience in embedded software development or relevant fields.
  2. Preferably bachelor’s degree in mechatronics ,computer ,communication or electronics engineering.
  3. 9 months ITI embedded software track.
  4. Strong knowledge in C and preferably also in C++.
  5. Strong knowledge in MCU architectures ,memories and peripherals.
  6. Good knowledge of low-level device drivers development.
  7. Good knowledge in embedded software design especially using real time operating systems (freeRTOS).
  8. Understanding of network and web related protocols (such as TCP ,HTTP and HTTPs).
  9. Familiar with software testing (testing levels and techniques).
  10. Adequate knowledge of electronics ,reading schematics and sheets’ data sheets.
  11. Ability and ease with using lab tools (such as debuggers and oscilloscopes).
  12. Ability to work independently ,take ownership of projects ,go above and beyond the task at hand.
  13. Self-motivated ,self-learning and show initiative.
  14. Good documentation and writing skills.
